Founder’s Fest Car Show

The 2026 Founder’s Fest Car, Truck, Tractor, and Motorcycle Show will take place on Saturday, September 26th in Downtown Red Bay. Registration is 8 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.. Trophies and prizes will be awarded at noon. 1stPlace prices will be awarded in the following categories: Classic Car, Car, Muscle Car, Classic Truck, Truck, Motorcycle, Tractor & Mayor’s Choice.

Registration Fee is $20 for 1st car, $15 for each additional car; $10 to show without entering. The entrance for the car show will be at 2nd Street W and 4th Ave. (Hwy. 19/Main Street) by Heritage Park.

All proceeds will benefit the Red Bay Senior Center.

Founder’s Fest 2026 is set for Saturday, Sept. 26th!

A one-day tribute to a town’s heritage has visitors headed to Red Bay in September for a day of free family fun. Situated under the shade trees of Bay Tree Park, the annual Red Bay Founder’s Fest is set for Saturday, September 26, 2026, with contests, sidewalks sales, and live music.

The day-long event kicks off with the Queen’s Train Ride at 9:00, from the beauty pageant winners that will be held on September 19, 2026 at the Red Bay High School, and live music cranks up at 9:30 a.m. A contest to see who has the best fried pie gets underway at 11:00 a.m. Entries with the best tasting and most unusual will take home a cash prize. There are a variety of contests for festival goers to participate in and include a quilt contest, coloring contest and a photography contest.

Additional activities include arts and crafts, an antique car-truck-motorcycle show. The Red Bay Museum will be open for tours and many of the merchants will offer sidewalk sales, specials, and door prizes throughout the day.

A variety of delicious festival food will be available, and another crowd favorite are the giveaways. Prizes will be awarded to the largest family, longest distance traveled to the event, and youngest and oldest attendees. Bay Tree Park is located at 210 4th Ave SE in downtown Red Bay.
