The Red Bay Museum is located at downtown at 110 4th Ave SE. It houses various displays of artifacts of Red Bay’s past and also features an extensive display of items donated by Tammy Wynette and family and friends of Tammy, the “First Lady of Country Music,” who grew up between Red Bay and Tremont, Miss., but called Red Bay her hometown.

The museum is open on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 1 to 4 p.m., and by appointment for group tours. Admission is $5 for adults, $2 for students, and no charge for children under age 6.
