The City of Red Bay was incorporated July 13, 1907 and is located in western Franklin County, Alabama, bordering the State of Mississippi.
Our city is surrounded by fertile land, being situated approximately 23 miles West of the county seat of Franklin County, 38 miles Southwest of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, 90 miles West of Huntsville, Alabama, 42 miles Northeast of Tupelo, Mississippi, 123 miles Northwest of Birmingham, Alabama, and 148 miles Southeast of Memphis, Tennessee.
